Member States to set up national alert platforms

Has the Member State set up a national alert platform? Yes As an activity of a CERT, CERT-Hungary publishes regular alerts and advisories, and provides reporting possibility of network and information security incidents, but there is a priority in serving the constituents.
Does it serve as a one-stop-shop for the public who can play an active role in reporting illicit online activity? No Although reports are received from the public, the priority is serving the constituents.
Does it compile statistics on alerts, thus tracking the development of cybercrime at national level? No Statistics of various types can be compiled, but CERT-Hungary does not have the mandate to track the development of cybercrime at national level.

Other initiatives:

The Theodore Puskas Foundation, hosting CERT-Hungary and the “Biztonsagosinternet” Hotline, is coordinating the DG HOME funded project NISHA (Network for Information Sharing and Alerting). The project aims to implement an EU wide network of information dissemination and alerting for citizens and SMEs, by realizing the EISAS concept of ENISA.
