Indicator Status Evidence
Have you made 900Mhz, 1800Mhz, 2,5-2,69 GHz and 3,4-3,8 GHz frequency bands available and authorised for 3rd and 4th generation mobile services use? Yes 900MHz, 1800MHz frequency bands are available by Government Decree No. 109/2011 (VII. 4.) on the amendment of Government Decree No. 346/2004 (XII. 22.) on the Establishment of national allocation of frequency bands under terms and conditions described in 2009/766/EK and 2011/251/EU decisions. The detailed rules relating to the use of frequency bands are in the Decree of No. 7/2011. (X. 6.) NMHH on the Establishment of the rules relating to the use of frequency bands has supplanted the ministerial regulation. The rules are in accordance with 2009/766/EK and 2011/251/EU decisions. It contains the GSM, UMTS, LTE and WiMAX related rules too. The last auction announced in the subject of rights of use of frequency related to the provision of mobile telecommunications services in the 900 MHz band in the unused part of the band on 2011 was successful. We have been modified the 3 mobile service providers’ concession contracts (on 900 MHz, 1800 MHz bands) with mobile operators towards the possible usage of UMTS, LTE and WiMAX technologies. 2,6 GHz frequency band is available by Government Decree No. 346/2004 (XII. 22.) on the Establishment of national allocation of frequency bands under terms and conditions described in 2008/477/EC decision. The detailed rules relating to the use of frequency bands are in the Decree of No. 7/2011. (X. 6.) NMHH on the Establishment of the rules relating to the use of frequency bands has supplanted the ministerial regulation. The rules are in accordance with 2008/477/EC decision. There was no request of usage of 2,6 GHz frequency band. 3,5 GHz frequency band is available by Government Decree No. 346/2004 (XII. 22.) on the Establishment of national allocation of frequency bands under terms and conditions described in 2008/411/EC decision. The detailed rules relating to the use of frequency bands are in the Decree of No. 7/2011. (X. 6.) NMHH on the Establishment of the rules relating to the use of frequency bands has supplanted the ministerial regulation. The rules are in accordance with 2008/411/EC decision. There are 5 operators in the 3,5 GHz frequency band. The opening of the 3,7 GHz frequency band is planned. The new regulation which contains the detailed rules relating to the use of 3,7 GHz frequency band under terms and conditions described in 2008/411/EC decision under notification. There is no authorisation in the 3,7 GHz frequency band.
Have you authorised (or plan to authorise in 2012) for use ("licensing") of the digital dividend (800 MHz band) for wireless broadband communication?? No Hungary has not authorized the 800 MHz band yet.
Have you implemented the transfer or leasing of right of use in the harmonised bands? - The transfer of the right of use is possible in the following frequency bands: 880,1-914,9/925,1-959,9 MHz 1725,1-1784,9/1820,1-1879,9 MHz 1900-1920 MHz and 1920-1980/2110-2170 MHz 2500-2690 MHz 3400-3600 MHz 24,5-26,5 GHz
