Other initiatives:

ARAKIS – an early warning and information system concerning network threats. Its main task is to detect and characterize new automated threats in the network by aggregation and correlation of data from various sources, including a distributed network of honeypots, firewalls, antivirus systems and darknets. CERT Polska, CERT-Hungary and the University of Gelsenkirchen building a common European information and alerting system based on the findings of the EISAS study of ENISA (FISH), HoneySpider Network – a joint venture between NASK/CERT Polska, the Dutch governmental CERT team GOVCERT.NL and the Dutch academic operator SURFnet. The aim of the project is to develop new and use the existing client honeypot solutions in order to detect attacks against client applications, especially against Web browsers, WOMBAT (FP7 project) – the aim of the project is the establishment of a global system of monitoring and analysing Internet threats, especially malware. Polish Abuse Forum is an informal cooperation between Polish Security and Incident Response Teams.
