Member States to develop national broadband plans

Do you have a National Broadband Plan which specifies a set of measurable broadband targets or will you have such a plan in place before 31st December 2012? Yes Action Plan for the development of broadband infrastructure for access to services of the information society in Poland for 2007–2013. National Broadband Plan is to be published soon.
Does the Plan meet the European Commission's Digital Agenda for Europe target for 100% broadband coverage by 2013? Have supportive measures been introduced to support the achievement of National Broadband Plan targets? Yes New Act on supporting development of services and telecommunication networks from 7 May 2010 - Ustawa z dnia 7 maja 2010 r. o wspieraniu rozwoju usług i sieci telekomunikacyjnych) makes the local government the main beneficiery of European funds for the broadband roll-out, simplifies the administrative procedures, facilitates private investment by insfrastracture co-sharing. The Office of Electronic Communications runs an inventory of existing and planned telecommunication infrastructure.
