Is e-learning present in national programmes and action plans? Yes Strategy for the Development of the Information Society in Poland until 2013, Action Plan concerning education of children and the youth and the functioning of schools in information society. New technologies in education, an annex to the Strategy (adopted by the Ministry of National Education in November 2010)
Is e-learning present in national curricula? Yes Amendment of the Act of 7 September 1991 on the educational system provisions allowing schools and educational facilities to conduct educational courses using e- Learning methods and techniques.
Are there training initiatives (for teachers, enterprises) using eLearning tools on the national level? Yes Several eLearning programmes for public employees, training initiatives for teachers run by the Ministry of Education, eLearning platform for SMEs - eLearning platform for young children on safer internet -, Digital School programme ( aimed at developing ICT skills of pupils and teachers (April 2012 - August 2013).
Are there dissemination initiatives for awareness raising in place? No
Are there national projects on creative classrooms and creative learning environments in place? No

Other initiatives:

National System of Virtual Education Scholaris project - Web portal containing developing educational and methodological resources for most school subjects on all levels of education, the model system of implementation and dissemination of e- Learning in lifelong learning, executed by the National Centre for Supporting Professional Education and Lifelong Learning.
