|Were the disability provisions in AVMS directive implemented?||Yes||One modality to achieve accessibility is the subtitle. For Romanian viewers, subtitling programs represent a long established fact, as a means of improving learning or perfecting language learning. Also, according to art. 79 of NAC Decision no. 220/2011, with subsequent modifications, until 1 January 2015, the main use of subtitles in informative programs broadcast on television will extend gradually. Once the transition to digital is achieved, the NAC will review these provisions, given the technical facilities that will be provided by digital technology (audiodescription, sign language, easily understandable menu navigation).|
