Member States to promote long-term e-skills and digital literacy policies

Does an explicit strategy document exist? Yes The issue is fragmented into set of documents. As the explicit one Minerva 2.0 can be mentioned.
Is there funding for digital literacy/e-skills projects and programmes (including EU funding)? Yes There are several possibilities for eskills funding, mainly Structural funds, Operational Programme Education (2007-2013)
Are there special programmes encouraging women, older workers ethnic minorities and other target groups to use ICT? Yes
Are there special programmes targeting employees (especially older workers and SMEs)? Yes
Is ICT being integrated in classroom teaching and vocational training? -
Are there programms offering ICT skills trainings in telecentres, public libraries and other informal environments? Yes ICT skills trainings are standard part of education at all its stages, including formal, as well as non-formal / informal education forms. The state administration keeps general evidence on ICT learning and digital literacy programmes acc. to the training parameters (such as type of training, form, participants, graduates etc.), however, it is not a common practice to track full details on informal learning as it usually is part of a more general work preparation / qualification.
