Member States to mainstream eLearning in national policies

Indicator Status Evidence
Is e-learning present in national programmes and action plans? Yes E-learning is included in the National Programme of Education of the Slovak Republic for the next 15 to 20 years (Millennium), approved by the Government in 2001.
Is e-learning present in national curricula? Yes eLearning is based at Act No 245/2008,it is part of the state education programs in secondary schools.
Are there training initiatives (for teachers, enterprises) using eLearning tools on the national level? Yes
Are there dissemination initiatives for awareness raising in place? Yes Yes. As soon as the national programme is launched, the start and the programme itself is "marketed" through national TV channel TA3 as well as on a special web prepared and used by teachers and lecturers.
Are there national projects on creative classrooms and creative learning environments in place? Yes Yes, there are. At the moment these are managed mainly in multicultural environment thanks to the activities of the British Council and to the international programmes financed by EU such as Comenius and Gruntvig
