|Are there targeted allocations of Structural Funds on ICT R&D?||Yes||The Ministry published in 2010 call for proposals (ERDF fund) for Competence Centres (CC) defined as research development centres, run by industrial partners, connecting partners from the economic and public research sectors, and aimed at strengthening development capability and the use of new technologies for the development of new competitive products, services and processes in the priority areas of technological development. Prior to the publication of call the government adopted decision and defined seven priority areas of technological development where CC should operate – two of them in the ICT area. Each competence centre received 6.4 M € for the period 2010-2014. In years 2010-2012 the Ministry has co-financed programmes of both centres in the total sum of 5.61 M € (centres contributed 2 M € private funding) of. At the end of the co-financing period (mid 2014) 12.8 M € should be allocated to both centres for the implementation of their R&D programme. And 13 M € will be allocated on Public tender for co-financing projects for the development of e-services and mobile applications for public and private non-profit organizations 2012-2013 and Public tender for the promotion of R&D projects for the development of e-services 2012 - 2014|
