Member States to ensure that Points of Single Contact function as fully fledged eGovernment centres

Does the Point of Single Contact cover all the services foreseen in the Service Directive? No Not yet. According to the Action plan for PSC implementation the PSC will cover all the services, including the one foreseen in the Service Directive.
Can all the administrative processes be done through the Point of Single Contact? No Not yet. According to the Action plan for PSC implementation the PSC will support all the administrative processes. The current Slovene PSC allows the full online completion of some administrative tasks, connected to registration of a company and most common supporting procedures.
Does the PSC facilitate cross-border provision of services? No The required infrastructure to ensure compliance cross-border acceptance of e-ID and e-Signatures still has to be implemented. Currently, foreign business cannot submit online applications if they don’t obtain Slovenian tax number and a digital certificate of the certification authority of Republic of Slovenia. Ministry for Justice and Public Administration, responsible for horizontal measures and central key-enablers in the field of e-government, is developing Central authentication system to support authentication of foreign users, taking into account also the solutions from the large scale pilot STORK.
