Member States to set up national alert platforms

Has the Member State set up a national alert platform? Yes NorCert has an Early Warning System for Digital Infrastructure, that map malicious activities towards Norway, provides early warning and supports the national Cyber Threat Assessment with data. The system is a cooperation between the intelligence and security services in Norway (NSM, PST, NIS) and a private/public partnership (PPP)
Does it serve as a one-stop-shop for the public who can play an active role in reporting illicit online activity? Yes Norway has etablsihed a police online tip-off system on sexual exploitation of children, human trafficking and racism on the Internet. The system is organized under NCIS (Kripos) – The national unit for fighting organized and other serious crime. www.tips.kripos.no
Does it compile statistics on alerts, thus tracking the development of cybercrime at national level? Yes NorCERT does this to a certain extent, but it is targeted primarily against attacs on critical infrastructure
