Yes In the framework of the national “Youth and Media" programme 2011-2012, projects and awareness raising campaigns are being launched with the objective to help children and young people use the media in a safe and responsible way. www.jugendundmedien.ch
Has the Member State taught online safety in schools? Yes Online safety is part of the educational curriculum in most Cantons.
Has the Member State encouraged providers of online services to implement self-regulatory measures regarding online safety for children? Yes There is the Industry initiative of the Swiss Association of Telecom-munications (asut) for better youth media protection in the New Media and for the promotion of media skills in society http://www.asut.ch/content/content_renderer.php?id=283&s=1&lan=1
