Have you made 900Mhz, 1800Mhz, 2,5-2,69 GHz and 3,4-3,8 GHz frequency bands available and authorised for 3rd and 4th generation mobile services use? Yes The Czech Telecommunication Office published its Invitation to tender for the award of the rights to use radio frequencies for providing a public communications network in the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz bands. Have you authorised (or plan to authorise in 2012) for use ("licensing") of the digital dividend (800 MHz band) for wireless broadband communication?? - The goal of the Czech Republic, also mentionad in the national broadband stategy, is to reuse the part of the radio spectrum released by the transition to digital television broadcasting for the mobile broadband. The allocation of released frequencies is subject to an auction which is prepared by the Czech Telecommunication Office (NRA). The deadline for applications is 10th September 2012.
Have you implemented the transfer or leasing of right of use in the harmonised bands? Yes The possibility of transfer or leasing of right of use was set down by the Amendment to the Electronic Communications Act, No. 468/2011 Coll, see the Article 19a .
