Is IPv6 supported? Yes To support the IPv6 transition the Government Resolution Nr. 727 was adopted in June 2009. The Resolution is instructing all cabinet ministers and heads of central state administration bodies to ensure access to website and publicly available eGovernment services via IPv4 as well as IPv6 before the end of 2010.

Best Practice Case

According to a benchmarking study carried-out within the GEN6 project (www.gen6.eu), the Czech Republic is a leading country in IPv6 implementation by public administration. Currently, almost a half of the ministries and two thirds of central government authorities support IPv6 on their webservers. At local level, 21,5 % cities enable an access to their websites via IPv4 and IPv6 as well.
