Action 41 in Finland flag Finland

Member States to set up national alert platforms

Indicator Status Evidence
Has the Member State set up a national alert platform? Yes
Does it serve as a one-stop-shop for the public who can play an active role in reporting illicit online activity? Yes
Does it compile statistics on alerts, thus tracking the development of cybercrime at national level? Yes It is quite important to understand the limitation of a public alert system. A large part of the most serious cybercrime is very much invisible to the public, so it will never be reported. Therefore one should never trust blindly the statistic provided by a public alert system
